Chemdog, not Chemdawg
There is Chemdog, which was found by the homie Greg aka Chemdog glass. Chem d, chem 4, chem sis, etc. Then there is the stardawg lineage which originates from the top dawg seeds
So Chemdog is a parent of tresdawg and grandparent of stardawg, but Chemdog is Chemdog.

Freeze Drying
Freeze Dryers use a process called Lyophilization to remove water at low temperatures. First, The freeze dryer lowers the temperature in the unit to freeze water. Than, a vacuum pump reduces the pressure inside the chamber. This reduced pressure lowers boiling points inside the chamber . Once under vacuum, the cylinder surrounding the shelves stays cold, while the shelves warm to the set temperature. This warming of the shelves sublimates* certain fractions of compounds depending on how warm you set the shelf temperatures to. Any substance that sublimates* is then deposits** onto the cold cylinder or gets pulled into the vapor trap of the pump.
Sublimation* – Phase change from solid to gas (ex. Dry Ice)
Deposition** – Phase change from gas to solid (ex. Water vapor freezing to snowflakes or frost)

Micron (μm)
A micron is a small unit of measurement that measures length. It is another name for “micrometer,” which is one thousandth of a millimeter, or one millionth of a meter. An object that is only a single micron wide is not visible by the human eye. However, a human hair, which has a width around 50 micron, can been seen.

Nucleation
The initial process that occurs in the formation of a crystal from a solution, a liquid, or a vapour, in which a small number of ions, atoms, or molecules become arranged in a pattern characteristic of a crystalline solid, forming a site upon which additional particles are deposited as the crystal grows.

In an ice water extraction the water does not dissolve the trichomes, so the water is not acting as a solvent. When it dissolves water soluble terpenes, it is considered a solvent.
